Functional sweetener   
Functional sweetener:Edulcorant is kind of flavoring agent providing sweet taste to foods, while functional edulcorant is a food edulcorant with special physiological function or particular usage. It also means that, it can replace sugar to provide sweet taste in functional foods. It contains two meanings: one is the fundamental one, and it has no adverse effects of health, but can solve the problems induced by intake of sugar. Second, it has adjusting or promoting effects on human health. The edulcorants can be divided into functional glycose, functional oligosaccharide, multielement sugar alcohol and strong edulcorant.
Acesulfame-K

Chemical name:Acesulfame―K

Molecular Formula:C4H4SKNO4

CAS: 55589―62―3

Properties: Colorless to white crystalline powder, odorless. Has a strong sweet taste, about 150― 200 times sweeter than sucrose. Flavor was similar to the nature and saccharin. Its high concentration has a bitter taste. have a good mix of sugar alcohols ,sugar, stable. not hygroscopic, stable at room temperature. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and other organic solvents.
