Properities: white granular powder, odorless, tasteless, soluble in boiling water. Dissolve slowly in the water,insoluble in anhydrous ethanol, chloroform or ether. Stable in the air. Melting point 201 ℃ decomposition. At 120℃, lose crystal water. Soluble (3g/100ml, 20 ℃). pH value of its aqueous solution is about 6―7. Not soluble in ethanol, acetic acid and other organic solvents.
