Vitamin   

Vitamin and Derivatives：Vitamins are a group of organic materials necessary to living activities in humans, and they are the important substance to maintain health of human body. Vitamins have critical influence in growth, metabolism and development of human body. When the body can not synthesize vitamins or enough vitamins, the demands of the body can not satisfied, and then vitamins must be imported from external environment. Vitamins are generally classified into two major categories, water soluble and fat soluble.

Chemical name: retinol
Molecular Formula: C22H32O2
CAS: 68-26-8
Properties: yellow to reddish orange liquid. Being solidify after frozen, smelly. Weaken light-resistance and oxygen-resistance. Break down quickly with lipoxygenase. Indissolve in water and glycerin, miscible in chloroform, ethyl ether and fat.
Usage: nutritional supplement
Application: used for sausage, margarine, bread, dairy products, fruit juice powder, and peanut butter.
